The goal of this program is to provide financial assistance for educational advancement in areas that directly benefit your role and our organization. This includes tuition reimbursement and loan forgiveness options for eligible employees.

Tuition Assistance Requirements
Eligibility Requirements

- Must be a full-time employee or affiliated employee
- Have at least 1 year of employment
- Maintain good work performance and attendance
- Professional Achievement Grant (PAG) Only: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) serving in an approved leadership role, such as Director of Nursing (DON) or higher.
Program Requirements (Once Accepted)

- Maintain a “B” average or higher (no reimbursement for failed or repeated courses)
- Sign a commitment to continued employment post-graduation
- Submit all required documentation on time each term, including:
- Transcripts and grades
- HR validation of work and school standing
- Proof of maintaining at least 24 hours/week during school and full-time post-graduation
- Mentorship agreement and completion of a Mentorship Survey each term
- Obtain licensure within 6 months post-graduation (if applicable).

Student Loan and Forgiveness Program
This program is exclusively for individuals pursuing their LPN or RN degree. It does not reimburse, repay or forgive any previously completed coursework, prior student loans, pre-requisites or existing educational debt.
Step One Complete the Pre-Requisites Form:
Make an appointment at Onestop and complete FAFSA:

- Review supportive services
- Identify local schools/program
- Apply to school/program
- Accept all grants
- Identify loan amount needed

Step 2: Complete and Submit Application and Required Documents
- A brief essay describing what you plan to do with the degree and why you are passionate about healthcare
- A recommendation letter from your community Administrator
- Documentation relating to the coursework and associated costs
- Completed pre-requisites form
- Headshot photo that can be used for social media purposes
Application deadline January 31st and June 30th
Tuition Reimbursement Program
This program is approved at the community level and provides up to $5,250 per year in reimbursement for eligible professional development. Funding may cover certificates, licenses, or further education, provided the education relates directly to the team members current position or contributes to the betterment of the community.
Step One Complete the Pre-Requisites Form: required only for requests involving external schooling, federal aid, or formal academic programs.

Step 2: Complete and Submit Application and Required Documents
- Employee completes application and submits to Administrator.
- Administrator reviews and approves/declines. If approved, forwards to HR Generalist.
- HR Generalist confirms eligibility and sends to RVPO.
- RVPO Approves/declines; if approved, sets contract details, completes conditions, signs, and returns to HR Generalist.
- HR Generalist submits signed application to Tuition Assistance Portal for agreement processing.
Applications accepted year round
Professional Achievement Grant
This program is available to DONs, RDCS, and Regional/Divisional Clinical Nurses
How to Get Started

- Submit two letters of recommendation from the current community LNHA (if applicable) and the RDCS/DVPCS.
- Choose a school from our list of partnered institutions and begin your application.
- Write an essay and complete the full application process.
- If selected, you’ll receive an award letter and must sign and return the agreement contract before any funds are disbursed

Earning your high school equivalency diploma can be an important step in expanding your career opportunities and continuing your professional growth. While this program is not part of the tuition assistance benefit, Saber is committed to supporting team members at every stage of their educational journey.
Through Saber University, you can access information and external resources to help you prepare for and obtain your GED. Whether you are just getting started or returning to complete your education, these resources can help guide you toward your next step.
Student Loan & Forgiveness Invoice Submission
All school invoices must be submitted through the link below. The form must be completed in its entirety before any payment will be processed. It is the team member’s responsibility to ensure that all required and appropriate documentation has been uploaded.

The Pre-requisites form is a checklist the employee fills out and submits with their application. This form confirms all external financial aid and any other funding resources have been explored.
